UPDATE: Not satisifed with killing a government official and three militants last night, then another three this morning, this evening in Palestine Israel blew up at least seven Palestinian civilians including numerous children, who made the mistake of going to the beach in Gaza.
-------------
On Thursday, just a few hours after "dovish" Israeli Defense Minister Amir Peretz announced his plan to increase the number extrajudicial assassinations of Palestinians by Israel, the Israeli Air Force did just that and murdered a senior Hamas official in "unoccupied" Gaza. Those settlers were easy to get out, but it seems Israel is having a tougher time "disengaging" their missiles and artillery shells.
Jamal Abu Samhadana was founder of the Popular Resistance Committees and the Palestinian Authority's Interior Ministry General Supervisor. Basically, he was the head of the new 3,000 member Hamas force constantly being deployed then undeployed in Gaza.
Why did Israel carry out this attack ("coincidentally" occurring on the same day of Zarqawi's killing)? Israel will claim that it is because of the Qassam rockets being fired from Gaza that occasionally hit buildings and scare people in southern Israel. Even though Israel has never been known for applying proportional justice in response to Palestinian actions, this excuse fails to explain the whole picture.
For more than 14 months, Hamas has unilaterally upheld a ceasefire with Israel. Israel has reciprocated by killing 324 Palestinians and injuring 1,424 during that time period.
Hamas was democratically elected into office and has signaled its willingness to negotiate with Israel and permanently end attacks against it if it withdraws to the 1967 borders. In response, Israel and the West have launched a boycott and starvation campaign against the Palestinians. Israel and the U.S. have been actively supporting their lackey and sore loser, PA President Mahmoud Abbas. Currently, Israel is transferring arms to Abbas to "take on Hamas," while the U.S. is holding up the transfer of aid to the Palestinians in hopes that the PA will collapse.
The assassination of Abu Samhadana is the latest escalation in this campaign against Hamas and the Palestinian people. With the U.S. and world backing its consistent violations of international law, Israel is intent on eliciting a violent reaction from Hamas. And one can guarantee that if, or when, such a reaction occurs, the story will not be of the trail of dead and dying Palestinians whose existence led to such a reaction, but simply that Hamas is a terrorist organization that should be boycotted and is not a "partner for peace."
With Hamas either further isolated or replaced by the Israel/U.S.-preferred Abbas, Israel will be able to continue with its "Convergence Plan" to annex half the West Bank and unilaterally define its borders. As they say, "Mission Accomplished." Until the next intifada.

Boo hoo hoo,
Another dirtbag has been sent to the 77 virgins. Send him a bottle of Viagra.
Is there an Arab terrorist you don't like? How about Osama? Is he a good guy or is it that he's no good because he killed Americans?

These Israeli terrorist attacks are nothing new. In 2004 the Israelis assassinated Palestinian resistance leader Abdel Rantisi. What was his crime? He wanted to go to his family home that had been seized by zionists.

Emanuel gives the typical zionist rant and mixes apples and oranges. Racists like him talk about Arabs as if they are all alike.
Osama has nothing to do with the Palestinians. The Israelis have killed more Americans than the Palestinians have. Just in the case of the USS Liberty.
The Palestinians are resistant fighters, not terrorists. Their intention has always been to reclaim their land. They have no antagonism towards America other than its support for Israeli occupation.
But the zionists think they are god's chosen people. How can one argue with that? Doesn't that remind you of some other people who thought they were supermen?

Bernarda likes to use ancient history to attack the Jews.
The USS Liberty? Didn't that happen in 1966? If it happened in 1866, would that still be good? How "bout the Crucifixion? Is that still a good reason to support Arab scum?
Yes, God's Chosen People are back on their Land because they find neighbors like Bernarda insufferable. Actually, she should be an ardent Jewish nationalist supporter. How would she like 6 million Jews all around her if the Arabs have their way?

Emanuel, "Is that still a good reason to support Arab scum?" Typical zionist racism.
Jews are about 2% of the U.S. population. There would be no problem for me resettling them in say Texas. The added benefit would be that we would get rid of the Israel-first lobby and not have to continue wasting 6 billion taxpayer dollars per year on Israel.
The real anti-semites are zionists like Emanuel who believe like Hitler that jews are different and cannot live among other peoples, that they have to be isolated and only live among themselves.
Myself, I have no problem living with different sorts of people. It is only the zionists who believe that they cannot live with other sorts of people.

Jewish criminals? Wow, anti-LGF, you aren't even using the euphemism "Zionist." Now poor Scott is going to have a really hard time disproving the notion that your criticisms of Israel are not anti-Semitic.

Wow, and in this comment Dave displays that it's only anti-Jewish attacks that bother him, but it's ok to attack both Latinos and Arabs. And yet, selective outrage and all, you still feel you have the moral authority to complain about some crazy comments here.
Actually, both these comments are getting unpublished.

Sorry Scott, but I can't fight all the wars at once. Anti-LGF has been filling the comments with venom, and I have not seen you do anything about it until now.
Nice try turning it around, though. I guess you have honed your skills through years of supporting terrorists.

Dave, when I'm looking to hire a comment-cop for my blog, I'll let you know.
