More than 1,000 Palestinians gathered at Qalandia checkpoint in occupied Palestine on March 30, 2012, to take part in a demonstration commemorating the 36th anniversary of Land Day and the Global March to Jerusalem.
Israeli forces repressed the demonstration with tear gas, plastic-coated steel bullets, skunk water cannons, a Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD), and concussion grenades. More than 150 demonstrators were wounded.
