There have been a few good analyses tricking out lately about the uprising in France that is slowly wearing down.
One is by a blogger who has had an eye on the situation since the beginning, Kersplebedeb, on The Context and Rebellion Behind the Headlines. It has a lot of good information about the, well, context the rebellion took place in, as well as looking at the reactions (or lack of) by various left groups and what lay in store in the future.
The second is The Fuse is Lit! by the French anti-facist group No Pasaran. They give a strong anti-capitalist analysis and put out a call for unity around a list of demands.
Finally, the fancily titled Paris is Burning: Post-Industrial Social Insurrections and the Wretched of the Earth focuses on the youth as "legitimate political actors" whose rebellion is rooted in the legacy of colonialism. Good stuff.
Any other recommendations?
