Due to circumstances beyond my control my previous post about this was a bit chaotic, so here's another go. A friend visiting from Oaxaca brought up a bunch of silk-screened tshirts made by, and to benefit CASOTA - the Oaxacan Autonomous Solidarity House of Self-Sustaining (Autogestive) Work (Casa Autonoma Solidaria Oaxaquena de Trabajo Autogestivo). It is an important anti-authoritarian/libertarian space in the city center for the social movement in Oaxaca.
We've sold some, but there are four remaining. We're asking $15-20, plus shipping. Some are not well done, so I'm completely open to selling them for less, say $10 or best offer. They're not doing any good sitting in my room.
If you would like any of the below tshirts, please email me at angrywhitekid [at] gmail [dot] com, and I will get it out to you right away. Thank you for your support!
PS: I've also got two copies of Teaching Rebellion: Stories from the Grassroots Mobilization in Oaxaca for $20 each that go to benefit Casa Chapulin, another radical space in Oaxaca.
BACK
SMALL - On the front, "Oaxaca". On the back, a masked youth with a molotov. Says "the rock hit the traitor who attacked in the early morning, because today the people in the street await him in the barricade." Lyrics from a popular movement song.
FRONT
SMALL - Nothing on back. On the front, two printings, one of an older woman masking up that says "more than 500 years resisting" the other a masked youth with a molotov. Says "the rock hit the traitor who attacked in the early morning, because today the people in the street await him in the barricade." Lyrics from a popular movement song.
FRONT
SMALL - Nothing on back. Front has guy with gas mask with words "Oaxaca libre" (free Oaxaca), plus somewhat obscured "more than 500 years resisting."
LARGE - Masked youth with a molotov. Says "the rock hit the traitor who attacked in the early morning, because today the people in the street await him in the barricade." Lyrics from a popular movement song. Plus "More than 500 years resisting"
FRONT
LARGE - Gandhi and some various quotes on the front, nothing on the back: "The English fear a non-violent Muslim more than a violent one." " Non-violence does not consist of loving those we love. Non-violence begins the moment we love those who hate us. I know perfectly well the difficulties of this expression of love." "Alone, non-violence is energy without strength. It's real value is what it acquires in the context of an active struggle for justice."
